Swarm Assault is a real-time strategy game that requires you to control huge swarms of ants, beetles, spiders, scorpions, and wasps in a desperate attempt to control the landscape. You can play it on Windows, Linux and macOS. It misses some other minor features which are not important for gameplay (like original loading screens).
Commonly, this program's installer has the following filenames: SRStart.exe and SwarmRampage.exe etc. The actual developer of the program is Gate 5 Creations. The software is sometimes referred to as 'Swarm Rampage Shareware'. You can play skirmish, even multiplayer which the original game didn't have (3 available servers). The latest version of the program can be downloaded for PCs running Windows XP/7/8/10/11, 32-bit. Of course all required features are certainly recreated and you can feel the spirit of the original game.Ĭurrently the project is highly playable, it has recreated 80 missions out of 100.
